Administrative

Office Manager

Triggit is looking for a motivated, organized, Office Manager who will perform a broad set of Administrative functions in our fast paced environment.

What you’ll do all day:

• Support all office functions from scheduling and mailing out sweatshirts to making sure that our team has pens and, of course, coffee.
• Support HR with coordinating interviews, on-boarding new employees, and organizing monthly Starcraft/Trivial Pursuit/GoKart adventures.
  
• Assume ownership of the appearance and productive state of the office. Watering plants, feeding fish, keeping everything tidy, and making sure the office has the proper styling.
• Create and document "best practices" for office procedures and work with us to improve our workflow and setup.

• You are organized, detail oriented, have a positive attitude and exhibit initiative, self-motivation and drive.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  
• You are used to delivering great results on-time and being an important part of a fast paced team.
  
• You are not afraid to get things done and are able to use a computer as well as a screw driver and hammer (to hang up pictures on the Triggit Wall of Fame for example).

Accounts

Ad Operations Associate / Excel Junkie

The Platform Operations Manager will oversee all Triggit campaign activity, monitor platform performance, and be ultimately responsible for executing client plans. There will be opportunity and expectation for growth within the company.

What You'll Do all Day

• Lead Triggit RTB Platform operations
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaigns to achieve campaign performance goals and maintain client satisfaction
• Assist engineering to improve Platform performance
• Carry out QA for campaigns and technical integrations
• Whatever else is required to get the job done

• Excel mastery; capable of uncovering meaningful insights from large data sets
• Must be immediately comfortable with complex online interfaces
• 1+ years of ad operations or account management preferred but not required
• Hungry self-starter with a relentless work ethic who doesn't want or need to be micromanaged

Engineering

Ruby on Rails Developer

We're looking for a Ruby on Rails engineer to help build the interface for our real time bidding platform. You will work alongside a team of successful entrepreneurs and experienced developers in constantly pushing the boundary of innovation and possibility.

Triggit loves our Eng Team. Compensation is extremely competitive, you'll get to build your own battle station, and engineers get an office - with a door. The positions are full time and based in SOMA, San Francisco, CA.

Requirements:

• A very solid understanding of Ruby. You wield blocks, procs, and lambdas like a pro. You're not afraid of heavy metaprogramming either.
• Many years of Rails experience, preferably dealing with data at scale.
• Very solid understanding of RDBMS (we use Postgres), SQL, and database normalization.
• Experience with jQuery, AJAX, HAML/SLIM, and SASS preferred.
• Experience and desire to work in a BDD environment using RSpec, FactoryGirl, and friends.
• Strong Unix fundamentals and thorough understanding of HTTP and all its intricacies.
• A detail-oriented approach to development.

Sr. Engineer: Ad Serving Systems

Triggit loves our Eng Team. Compensation is extremely competitive, you’ll get to build your own battle station, and engineers get an office - with a door. The positions are full time and based in our SOMA, San Francisco, CA office. We will help with relocation expenses.

What You'll Do All Day:

• Develop on a rich codebase on a high-volume real-time advertising platform for ad evaluation, bidding, and serving
• Help improve performance and processing time on an ad server that currently handles over 150,000 requests per second
• Develop and implement high performance machine learning algorithms
• Help improve performance and functionality on our internal event processing system

• Many years experience with developing high performance network applications in C/C++ on Linux
• One or more years experience with a scripting language
• A solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
• A solid understanding of systems programming and operating system and network fundamentals
• An excellent understanding of performance optimization at scale; experience with where bottlenecks in large distributed systems occur and how to solve them
• Some experience with RDBMS and SQL
• Interest in alternative programming languages

• Recruiting: You'll call, e-mail, attend networking events, and generally use any and all tactics to attract other rockstars to Triggit.
• You'll become a pro at LinkedIn, Jigsaw, and other industry tools.
• Various other tasks will be tossed your way, giving you insight into the inner workings of a VC funded startup.

• Learn how to recruit, hire, and onboard – we'll teach you how to build great teams as you help build ours.

Director of Marketing

Triggit is growing quickly and is on the prowl for an ambitious, self-starter to lead our PR and Marketing efforts.

What You'll Do All Day:

• Articulate key messages through the triggit.com website, blogs posts, press releases, and more
• Write sales collateral and marketing docs: building decks, fact sheets, case studies, etc.
• Lead PR efforts, including building and maintaining relationships with print and online reporters
• Build Triggit’s social presence using creative marketing techniques
• Develop metrics to measure PR and Marketing success

• You are an experienced marketing professional with a passion for start-ups and the efforts required to make them work.
• You want to work directly with an executive team to develop key messages and marketing materials such as case studies, blog posts, and sales collateral.
• You want to use the inherent capabilities of social marketing to develop a community of followers, increasing marketplace reputation and assisting sales efforts.
• You want to create product-positioning statements and lead PR planning for product/feature launches, develop case studies analyzing their performance, and publicize the results.

Requirements:   
2+ years of integrated media/digital sales and or agency experience, or a way to prove you don’t need it.  
Ability to understand and communicate complex technologies. 
You understand Triggit’s core business propositions and technologies. And will be ready to communicate this understanding during your first call. 
You can identify and close deals with digital brands and advertising agencies to achieve Triggit’s and individual’s quarterly and annual sales goals.
